A local staple for over twenty years, Hinode has been serving up teppanyaki and sushi cuisine to Springfield and spreading culture through food. We pride ourselves on quality ingredients and a fun interactive meal that the whole family can enjoy.
We opened our doors in 2001 with only eight hibachi tables. Throughout the years, we have slowly expanded to seventeen hibachi tables and a separate sushi section. Owned by the Kwon family since 2005, we brought our restaurant to the Nixa community in 2017 to continue our mission of creating a space where cooking is part of the fun.
With a community-focused mission, we believe children are the future. Our passion for children has led us to partner with the Discovery Center of Springfield and Big Brothers Big Sisters to make an impact on our local community.
In 2018, we further expanded our brand by opening our sister restaurant, Bawi Korean BBQ in Springfield, Missouri. We are proud to continue our tradition of educating through food and an interactive experience.
